I thought that I was an expert. After all, I had one rather delightful child. I had friends with other children, and I'm generally quite the achiever. I had all the baby books (conveniently focussed on the first time round) and my knowledge of what to do with the second time round centred on the first child: make sure that you are not holding the new baby when they visit for the first time and have a gift 'from the baby.'
I'm not one for accepting advice - if I want advice or information I'll search for it. But it is cool to learn about other's experiences as you can take what you want from it. People do things differently, this for me is one of the joys of parenting - it is a whole new world with a lot of different people doing things differently! So I've set up this blog. It is half a gift to some friends who are pregnant at the moment - something for them to take a look at and laugh over. It is also a gift for those having a bad day and just want to know that there are others who have done the same thing or had a similiar experience.
Good luck! It is the hardest and best thing that I have ever done.
